(NAF & FDOT Partnerships for Litter-Free Florida Highways) I join Nepalese Association of Florida (NAF) President Anila Neupane and her executive committee to share with you all that NAF proudly continues its Adopt-A-Highway program in partnership with FDOT for the next two years here in WPB.
On behalf of NAF, I would like to extend special thanks to these 12 volunteers Saugat Shrestha, Deep Adhikari, Sarah Thapa, Smarika Nepal, Ram Sharan Thapa, Dr. Amar Bdr Karki, Krishna Shrestha, Sunita Shrestha, Manoj Joshi, Kiran Raj Pandey, Gopesh Maskey, Bimal Nepal for their active participation. Due to prior commitments we missed quite a few volunteers today. We appreciate everyone’s support for this event and look forward to having more youth participation in the coming days.
This is the 10th time we have cleaned our assigned territory i.e. the two sides of the Forest Hill highway (WPB, FL) intersection between Jog and Turnpike approximate distance of 1.5 miles this morning.
The Adopt-A-Highway program was initiated by NAF to mark “NAF Silver Jubilee 2017” and this event truly reflects our civic engagement efforts for our community.
