Nepal is facing devastating flash floods that have caused widespread hardship for families and communities, damaging homes, roads, bridges, farmland, and essential infrastructure. Many affected families are in urgent need of food, shelter, medical assistance, and other basic necessities.
During this difficult time, the Nepali community across Florida is coming together as one to support emergency relief efforts and help Nepal recover and rebuild.
The Nepalese Association of Florida (NAF), together with its chapters South West Florida Chapter, Tampa Bay Nepalese Chapter, South Florida Chapter, Jacksonville Chapter and Tallahassee Chapter across different cities in Florida, and in collaboration with other Nepali nonprofit organizations, including:
- International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) – Florida Chapter
- Newah Organization of America (NOA) – Florida Chapter
- Nepali Community Center Orlando (NCCO)
- Madheshi Association in America (MAA) – Florida Chapter
is working collectively to raise funds and provide support for flood-affected communities in Nepal.
